This is much more than a coffee table book. The images have all the qualities of good photographic art (fills the coffee table requirement), and then the book adds text giving two points of view on each photo, what the editors saw and felt, and then some very interesting insight from the photographer. Just technical enough so the reader knows how to go about following the examples that inspire - and, depending on the individual's taste and interest, all of them do! - without getting into the minutiae. It has something for everybody, from portraits to landscapes to macros and beyond, well-balanced in the weight given to various topics, clear, informative text, excellent-quality photos and printing. In short, this will be a permanent part of my active library! Recommend to any photographer from beginner to advanced who wants to expand his range, capabilities, insight and skill.

I bought this item thinking it was going to be just like the one from Colby. I got crap. It worked, as long as you want a light image of all your pictures. I even went to the screen where you can adjust the brightness / contrast. I darkened it to the maximum it will let you. Still very light pictures. I sent it back. The one my mom has, she loves. Colby has good picture quality and same size as this. When I requested my money back, it took them over a month to refund me a check. Buyer Beware on this one.
