I refuse to go out into the world each day without bathing my bulk; and this includes a vigorous scrub of me scalp. And I refuse--categorically, hysterically--to use a separate conditioner after applying the shampoo; I have better things to do than camp out in the shower putting stuff on my head. Which is why I love PERT PLUS HAPPY MEDIUM 2 IN 1 HAIR SHAMPOO PLUS CONDITIONER. You get the benefit of a razzle-dazzle cleansing, PLUS (which is why it's in the name, duh) the soothing treatment of a conditioner (which used to be an even bigger deal when I had more hair). Accordingly, you get out of the shower, dry your head, comb (or brush), and move on.

After using this product I do love the way my hair feels (really clean) and smells. It is a pleasant aroma I emit, I do admit. Presenting a clean hair appearance is important to me; it just looks. . .civilized. And if you want to see folks in dire need of this shampoo just watch a few scenes from Gangs of New York. Someone should have taken a fire hose full of Pert and soaked the entire cast, but I digress.

These are some highly gifted musicians. I agree with the other reviewer John that some of the best stuff on this album is the original material. However, their take on "Colored Aristocracy" consistently blows me away. What a brilliant and furious fiddle tune that is. Amazon has this album for a good price, too; no reason not to snap it up.
