All the directions and descriptions are in Japanese (which we all have no idea how to read) but the illustrations are pretty good at showing what needs to get done. It does seem pretty difficult for an amateur though.  Simple Art of Japanese Papercrafts $19.99 The pictures are beautiful and give a sense of what you can do with very nice paper Models are practical (boxes, envelopes, wrapper, small gif bag) plus usual decorative things. Pictures are nice but don't help a lot when it comes to tricky part of the folding sequence.
