![]() Manias, Panics, and Crashes: A History of Financial Crises (Wiley Investment Classics) $19.95 A scholarly and entertaining account of the way that mismanagement of money and credit has led to financial explosions over the centuries. Covering such topics as the history and anatomy of crises, speculative manias, and the lender of last resort, this book has been hailed as "a true classic...both timely and timeless." The updated fifth edition expands upon each chapter, and includes two new chapters covering significant crises of the last fifteen years around the world. ![]() A Fever You Can't Sweat Out $13.98 I swear every generic emo band like Fallout Boy, Taking Back Sunday, and the mighty awful Panic At The Disco must have the same singer cause If you hear them its the same voice. Now that I let that out of my chest this is by far one of the worst bands I had the displeasure of ever hearing, nothing about it is original, sadly enough when I was still in high school I was subjected to hearing this crap non-stop that I wished I pulled a Van Gogh on myself, this band has no redeeming value whatsoever, they are just a another generic band that copied an equally bad band called Fall-Out Boy who let's face it, only caters to adolescent girls, thank god this band ain't relevant anymore, do yourself a favor DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS GARBAGE, reading a book on car seat belts is more entertaining, looking at cement dry is more exciting, hell even watching grass grow is awe gasping than listening to this generic emo crap. ![]() When Panic Attacks: The New, Drug-Free Anxiety Therapy That Can Change Your Life $15.95 As someone who has struggled with anxiety for many years, I cannot reccommend this book enough. I'm in my early 20s and have already been on and off medication/therapy for years. When I started to feel like I was losing control I decided to take matters into my own hands and this book has helped me tremendously. One thing of note: do not get this book unless you are serious about getting to the root of your problems and willing to work to feel better. It requires you to examine your thoughts and feelings and complete exercises that will help you think and feel better. It is great for those looking for real change. For people looking for some magical cure without putting in any effort: look elsewhere. ![]() Pretty. Odd. $18.98 I thought this was a really good album. It does sound alot like the Beatles for some songs but what's wrong with that? I love retro-rock music and this was an awesome break from the normal, made for radio rock. Worth the buy. |
