Puchased this book after seeing Mr. Jansen's website and the truck camper he apparently made using lighweight construction techniques. He refers you to this book for the details on the techniques. He talks in vague generalities about composite sandwich construction but gives no details or as he alluded to on his website, the trial and error attempts he experienced in building his 690 lb. truck camper. Don't waste your money on this book if it's details you are after. Really isn't very good reading even if your not interested in details.

So the reason you're looking for a fan called "Whisper" is because you are concerned about noise, right? Well in that case, save your money and your warranty. Whisper is just as loud. True, the sound is a little different - I'd say a lower harmonic whine versus the original fan. But just as intrusive.

The only good thing I can say about it is that the fan definitely moves more air that the original fans.

My car was overheating bad in 90 degree weather. Had to turn the air off and drive very slow onthe highway to get it home. Backflushed and then put this in and I drive anywhere in any temperature with the air on full blast-no overheating!
