This first episode of "Out of Egypt", "Flesh and Bone" is hosted by Kara Cooney and takes the viewer around the world looking at Relics (the remains of humans and aminals used in religious services).

While the locations are very exotic and the filming often captures the flavor of the cultures being shown, the overall feel of the program is that of a brief trailer that leaves you wanting more. The segments that they do spend a lot of time on, such as the visit with the spitting Mexican witch, I wished they had left out as it didn't really add much value to the theme.

This was interesting, but not a real serious look at Relics.
