 Eva Lind - Lieder, die zu Herzen geh'n $17.98 If the house catches fire this is the one CD I would try to rescue. The German folk songs combined with Eva Lind's classically trained expressive voice and the beautiful orchestral accompaniment make every song a delight. The album comes with a booklet giving the lyrics(in German). That was a great help to me since I can read German but am far from fluent in conversations. As a descendant of German immigrants, this album put me in touch with my musical heritage since some of the lyrics and melodies were probably known by my forefathers in Germany. |
