With the aid of two packs, the magician demonstrates the impossible; that is, that two solid objects can occupy the same space at the same time. He takes out two boxes of cards that have been pushed together. He removes a Red backed deck from the Red box. A member of the audience chooses a card from the deck and remembers it.. The magician replaces the card in the pack and the pack in its box. He then opens the Blue pack and removes the Blue backed deck from within. The cards are spread and among the Blue cards there is one Red backed card. It is the same card the spectator selected earlier. The deck can now be used for other effects.
