this is one of the three albums released by Journey prior to the addition of Steve Perry. Perry's addition as lead vocalist made the band millionaires. Prior to that they were musicians, and accomplished musicians in fact.
If you loved the 80's era arena rock Journey...then do not buy this album! If you loved the musicianship of the 70's and believed that every good band had a keyboardist-one who was treated like a band member-and a soulful sounding vocalist, then this is the album for you.
Of the three pre-Perry albums this is the last and definitely the best. Put on your head phones and enjoy what music used to sound like.
