![]() NCAA Basketball 10 $59.95 I received this as a gift. Glad I didnt pay $60 for this. If you are mainly looking for achievements, renting this game or waiting a while for a large price drop is your best option. I easily have more than 600 gamerscore out of this game in a couple hours playing time. Xbox Live matches were essentially non-existent when I tried to join lobbies a few times last night. Perhaps this is due to it being released so soon after Modern Warfare 2 and Assassins Creed 2. I was surprised to find a max of 2 gamers in all the lobbies combined. Usually when I checked there were no other gamers in any lobby. Unfortunate since a few hundred gamerpoints are dependent upon Xbox Live multiplayer versus matches. One fat cheevo being: play 75 xbox live games for 150 gamerscore. Then many of the single player achievements were ridiculously easy. Seriously--look at the credits for 10 GS!?! As for gameplay it's not any better or worse than other editions or other publishers versions of basketbal (college or pro or arcade dlc) Not a bad thing. It still felt user friendly if you have played the other xbox 360 basketball games over the past few years. I can't speak to the quality of graphics as I played this on travel and was using a portable DVD player for a screen with a brand new 2week old Jasper chip Elite system. No glitches or freezes were noticed during the few hours of gameplay. Not a bad game, just not a huge amount of replay value and at least last nite xbl lobbies were ghost towns. ![]() NCAA Basketball 09 $19.99 I haven't been able to review this game. The company that handled this transaction shipped the wrong game to me. It is completely useless at this time. I informed the company of this situation. This company wanted me to spend more of my money to ship this wrong game First Class. I didn't understand why I had to come out of my pocket for someone else's mistake!!! ![]() Official 2009 NCAA Men's Basketball Records Book (Ncaa Mens Basketball Records) $17.95 This is a very informative book on college basketball, especially the history of the statistics, both individual and team. It was just what I expected. This is a very good complement to the NCAA Tournament Records Book, b/c this one is just about the polls, games, and tournaments leading up to the NCAAs. The only thing I wish they still had in this Records Book is the results of the previous seasons' games, at least for the Division I teams. Rhett Green |
