I found this book to be rather helpful for making organic beauty products especially bar soaps. If you are looking for a how to book with a large selection of wonderful choices of soap options, this one is fabulous. It has lots of photos and is very detailed. I was hoping for more options with face scrubs and body butters. If you want more than 1 or 2, this is not the book for you.

This is a great book. The recipes are very easy to follow, and I love all of the skin recipes. Have caution with some of the essential oils listed, though. Go onto Rose Mountain Herb's website for more detail.

Seriously, if I had to choose one natural product to never be without, this would be it. I have used this cleansing bar for 35 years, starting when I was 16, and have enjoyed great skin ever since. It is hard to find, and Whole Foods does not carry it, so I have to drive out of my way to get it...until now, of course. I am so happy Amazon has it! I love the smell also, I see someone posted negatively about it, but I think it smells fresh and not perfumey. It will dissolve easily, as others have noted, so keep in a dry place. As with any cleansing product, be sure to use a good moisturizer on a daily basis to ensure suppleness and prevent dryness. I just love the way it makes my skin look and feel!
