![]() Great Motivation Secrets of Great Leaders $21.95 I've always seen motivation as more than what most do. It isn't something that is short lived if we don't want it to be. Like anything motivation can be kept alive through the use of logical steps. You won't just stay on a feverish plateau as you have following an inspiring speech, you have to internalize it. You do this with discipline. You continue to use what you're motivated toward until it is a part of you. When that has happened, you get to a higher appreciation of what your goal is and then you give it to others. When they receive it and act on it, the originator receives feedback that re-energizes him as well. This cycle can continue as long as the cycle continues. This latter part of motivation seems to be what Mr. Baldoni has captured very nicely. Motivation is almost like a skill, the more you use and refine it, the stronger it becomes. ![]() Understanding Motivation and Emotion $95.96 Very good book, easy to understand and comprehend.
