![]() TCM Spotlight: Esther Williams, Vol. 2 (Thrill of a Romance / Fiesta / This Time for Keeps / Pagan Love Song / Million Dollar Mermaid / Easy to Love) $59.98 It's been a long time coming, but finally volume 2 has arrived and hope it's a great seller so Warner's will release a third and final volume which would include the underated SKIRTS AHOY. Also included should be TEXAS CARNIVAL; JUPITER'S DARLING and the very good DUCHESS OF IDAHO. Howewver, because Warner's has taken a new stand of releasing their classics in a burned edition and at a ridiculous price of $20.00 each plus shippping a tax, I doubt that they will release this third collection. For shame. But back to tis volume. Very impressive titles here except for PAGAN LOVE SONG. Good that it has a short run time. FIESTA isn't really a SWIM movie, but good just the same. The others are typical fun comedies with some wonderful water ballets. ![]() Ready, Fire, Aim: Zero to $100 Million in No Time Flat (Agora Series) $27.95 What makes an entrepreneur successful? This question is raised by Michael Masterson (himself a very successful entrepreneur) and not too surprisingly, the answer is "sales". Masterson implores, don't waste time and money on things that aren't going to bring in revenue; the ancillary products and services can wait. Make selling your number one priority. This book is filled with such pragmatic advice that almost seems too obvious to be true; however, I suppose there are some misguided entrepreneurs who are more concerned with the look of their fancy logos than selling those widgets. Get a clue; read this book. If you've already been through the process of growing an enterprise from the ground floor up, this book is of marginal value. Masterson's obsevations are somewhat pedestrian; we've heard it hundreds of times before ("Less is more.") in other, slightly more original endeavors. Still, the essence of the book is sound. If there's one critcial piece to be ingrained into the mindset of any entrepreneur, it's simply make sure you know how to sell; and surround yourself with aggressive like-minded people who also enjoy selling. It's a jungle out there. ![]() World's Great Artists Sing Praises of Columbia Records' New Low Prices!
