I ordered the small since I have very tiny ankles and it is actually child sized! In the proper size this would have done me some good. Brown Medical Sol Step, Medium $25.00 The Steady Step Sol Step is a bit of a disappointment. The best way I've found to relieve heel pain is NOT the Sol Step, but standard shoe inserts. The 3/4 inserts from Dr. Scholls work well. The only thing I've found a use for with the Sol Step is cold therapy. Throwing them in the freezer for two hours before wearing make them a soothing thing to wear, but the gel compacts too much after a whole day of standing on your feet, and achieves nothing but flattening the heel.
