 ...Meanwhile $18.98 Yes, there is a reunion of all sorts, of all four members, but besides Kevin singing one lead vocal on 'The stars didn't show', (good song), the contribution of Kevin and Lol is minimal, merely a couple of backing vocals. Graham also gets very little mention here, and sings no lead vocals at all on the album. The tracks are all very similar with a mid-tempo sound and similar textures and arrangements. The last track 'don't break the promises' is gorgeous, as is 'Woman in love', a very catchy song that sticks in the mind. The rest is forgettable and some extremely poor, such as 'fill her up'. Nice to have in your collection, but only if you are an avid collector.  Meanwhile Back at the Ranch (Reading Rainbow) $6.99 I first saw this on "Reading Rainbow" years ago. It's one of my favorite children's books. I take this book with me when I substitute teach because it's usually not a book the kids have heard. They LOVE it! I do always have to explain what Cracker Jack is though! |
