I may have waited too long to purchase this, considering the last posted review was over 8 years ago. Apparently due to this, Amazon seems not to have any more mint conditions in stock, as the first one I ordered looked used as soon as I opened the shipping box...not in shrinkwrap and the outer cover was clearly scuffed. When I opened it, the spine was horribly broken! I immediately returned it and demanded a mint condition (new) book. What I got on the 2nd go-around was another with minor scuff marks on the outside, but at least the rest of the book was intact. I wanted a keepsake/collector's item and what I got is just a hand-me-down. :( I would have given this 1 star, but it IS Mario, after all.
