First off, let me tell you about Maken X. It's truly a fantastic game. It contains a unique experience of gameplay I've never seen in any video game. You can play different awesome characters in the game by a powerful sword. There's also a retro
super cool Techno soundtrack which is pretty decent. The images and and scenery are unforgetable. It has a Doom like feel to it. Some of the acting is a little nervey, but still tolerable. It's games like this that make Dreamcast worth having. Dreamcast is still a great and powerfulsystem. In fact it's alot better than these new games that are out now that are considered Great! This game didn't get alot of attention, but It starts off good and ends up great! If you still have a Dreamcast, put Maken X in your collection.

If you only own one recording of traditional Irish music this should be it. In 1955 Dianne Hamilton, who was a Guggenheim heiress and an accomplished musician in her own right, travelled to Ireland to record traditional performers. One of her first ports of call was the Clancy household in Tipperary where she met Liam Clancy. She inveigled Liam to join her on the rest of the trip and when they reached Armagh they sought out singer Sarah Makem. Liam thus made friends with her son Tommy and the rest, as they say, is history. The Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem went on to be famous and made a great many recordings both together and separately, but on this CD you can not only hear them in the first bloom of their careers, but you can hear where they got their gift (and many of their songs) from, as their mothers, Joan Clancy and Sarah Makem make appearances too, together with singer Paddy Tunney, fiddler Padraig O'Keefe and others. The refreshing thing about this recording is that most of the songs are unaccompanied, so you get the unadulterated and uncommercialised sound of the pure Irish voice soaring through the songs. Most of the recording was done in pubs and living-rooms. At the end of one recording session everyone said they should not leave without recording Thomas Baynes. A shy man who had been quietly drinking in the corner was with some difficulty talked into singing. What emerged was arguably the greatest version on "Barbara Ellen" ever recorded. If you appreciate Irish music you must have this CD.

I read this book TWICE cover to cover! Lord have mercy!

If this type of nonsense is being read by Christian women, and is being assimilated into their thinking about romance (and it is), it's no wonder men are running from the church in record numbers!

This book is unbiblical, unfair and just plain silly! Jesus was single! Virtually all of his apostles were single! Paul was single! There is nothing wrong with marriage per se, but God is not mandating that any man get married, regardless of how desperate Christian women are getting! Free will, my friends! A man does not have to defend his single status to ANYONE, nor does he have to proclaim the "gift of singleness"! The only reason he needs for being single is that HE DOESN'T WANT TO GET MARRIED! If a pastor or the women in the church don't like it, he should politely tell them to mind their own business!

Shocking? Show me one place in the New Testament where Jesus says all men must get married, except for a very tiny minority? Paul was pretty clear when he said it was GOOD for a man to NOT TOUCH A WOMAN! Truer words were never spoken! I'm living proof. I live an extremely moral life, and never have any physical dealings with women. Ever! It CAN be done! Women don't want men knowing that men CAN say no to sex! Men DO have power over their own bodies! Besides, the fleeting illusion of beauty in a woman disappears very quickly! This is not information our present evil world wants men sharing.

A man can get married if he wants to, and is willing to assume the staggering risks involved. Truly, he has not "sinned" if he does so. But, life can be much simpler and much, much happier if he declines to take the ill-fated walk down the aisle. With the present high divorce rate in the church, a man would be wise to think long and hard about the remote possibility that he will find any kind of lasting happiness in marriage. Marriage is being peddled like some sort of panacea by the church.

It most assuredly is NOT! Most marriages end in divorce, and many marriages that manage to stay together are hardly what you would call happy. I can understand why women want to marry. Financially, it makes good sense. I do NOT understand why ANY man would take the plunge. It makes NO sense at all for a man to assume the massive risk. At best, even a good marriage, rare though it may be, takes a massive amount of work. Constant compromise, and then more work. What man in his right mind wants to work like a dog all day, only to come home and work some more at a relationship? Is this reasonable? Not to my way of thinking.

A bit more pragmatism, and a little less emotionalism. Marriage offers a man very few rewards, and virtually nothing to offset the amount of effort and $$$ he will have to invest. If this offends women, I'm sorry. If I go to the meat market, and the butcher starts charging $500 a pound for low-grade ground beef, I don't think he's likely to find too many buyers. I think women have simply priced themselves out of the market, and don't realize it yet. Possibly a little introspection would be in order, and a little more time in front of the mirror.
