Exile On Mainstream $13.99 You can't argue with the hits. Songs like "3 AM," "Push," and "Bent" defined the alternative genre in the late '90s and early '00s. Each one is a post-grunge classic. Including six new tracks on a hit collection might seem unusual, but it works quite well here. These new songs are more in the pop/rock genre than most of the band's other material, and it's a nice change. Among them, the instant favorite "How Far We've Come" is a hopeful anthem that sits well with older hits. The sweetly sentimental "These Hard Times" is also not to be missed. 4 Stars.
