spell binding tale of a psychopath. to think this guy really existed and conducted these horrific acts of violence in my own backyard is really scarry. ( i grew up the exact area of brooklyn described in the book, where one survived by simply minding your business.) 'The butcher' was like reading about the sopranos for real. An interesting insight to the psyche of the underworld mentality, code of conduct and cultural background. A non-stop read.

The game comes in 3 CDs with easy installation. The game runs pretty well. No requirement of keycodes. I especially like the free ride part of the game.

In this "Godfather" takeoff, Lloyd Bridges plays Don Cortino, this film's Godfather. The film parodies every major Mafia film and includes some send-offs on others as well. It's slap-stick, haphazard and mostly funny.

It's also low-budget. It's clear the film's pretty low-budget. Even I can see the film equipment and props used to create the very special effect in the funeral scene. I don't usually catch these goofs so they are pretty apparent.

Balance the laughter with the bloopers if you can. The film did not do well in the theatres, but it's fun with a group of friends. I'd watch this one with a bunch of friends, some pizza, and libations and see what happens.

George Anastasia's account of the history of the Philly Mob is a fascinating read, offering details that only an insider could provide. At times vulger and depressing, while at other times somewhat humerous and surprising, this is excellent background for anyone who wants to know how some of these guys think.
