![]() BIA Cordon Bleu Bistro Luncheon Plates, Set of 4, White $24.00 I purchased some really awesome BIA dishware from Wegmans grocery a few yrs back. Wegmans then decided to change their line of dishes before I could complete my set. Later that summer, a neighbor "borrowed" one of my pasta bowls--or are they salad bowls?--and I was left with only three. This bowl is not the same as the ones I have--several ounces shallower than my originals--and BIAs website does little to clarify, as it does not show multiple angles to display the varying bulges on the bottom. (At the very least this seller could provide information on what BIA collection this is from so I know what NOT to buy next time. Is this bowl from the Saturn collection? Limoges? Something else...?) (My original Wegmans purchase was perfect for what I need. Wish I could find more. Also wish I could find either affordable ceramic "tart pans" to double as matching luncheon plates... or something akin to the Painter's Palette plates BIA makes... only with a full-blown thumb divet that can double as a wine-glass holder for cocktail parties. If you're a designer for BIA and are reading this, MAKE IT HAPPEN!) ![]() Corelle Livingware 8-1/2-Inch Luncheon Plate, Hot Dots $6.50 These plates are great and the kids love them! I have a 2 and a 5 year old and now I don't have to worry about feeding them on the plastic kids plates. I can just throw them in the dishwasher and they are much easier to take care of. ![]() Fiesta 9-Inch Luncheon Plate, Sunflower $15.00 This size is perfect for a large sandwich, a slive of pizza or a cut-up apple & some cheese. (That's what we mainly use them for!) A dinner plate is too big and Fiesta's bread plate is too small for such things, but like the baby bear's things in the story of the Three Bears, this one is just right! Seriously, though, we use these every day and are delighted with them. ![]() Tupperware Microwave Luncheon Plates, Parrot Green (Set of 4) $27.00 Set of four new Tupperware microwave luncheon plates, 9-1/2" diameter, in parrot green. |
