This system was originally created at the request of the insurance companies as a low cost system for their customers. This system uses the same technology and website as all of the other versions of the NAV-TRACKER, but is designed to be hidden and not accessible onboard the vessel. The system will send multiple daily position reports, at the interval selected by the user. The interval range is between once every 5 minutes to once every 24 hours, and can be updated on the website at anytime.Control of the NAV-TRACKER 1.0 is entirely internet based. The system simply needs to be wired to 12 or 24 volts and it will report at whatever intervals the customer chooses. Arming and disarming of the system is all controlled from the website. |
