 Twenty Bucks $14.94 I discovered this movie while looking for Brendan Fraser films. It's got a a very talended cast and interesting premise; following a $20 bill as it gets passed from hand to hand, floats on the breeze, etc. The stories of the people involved with this $20 bill are intertwined in a clever and plausible way. Definitely worth watching.  When the Detail Lost its Freedom $8.99 Has Richard Wagner been resurrected? Some of these pieces sound as if Wagner helped compose them - not the bombastic, over-the-top Wagner of the overtures, but the quiet Wagner of his slower pieces. McBride is pushing the boundaries of ambient and electronica to something new. Yes, these work great for background ambient sound but they also stand up as modern neo-classical music pieces. Wonderful. |
