An uneven book, interesting at times but also tedious and dull. Rooney seems too much the young college student, living in her head and forever quoting this expert or that study. It was interesting to know about how it felt to be a nude model, how much it paid, possible romantic outcomes, and the dangers. That said she made it curiously impersonal and distant with seemingly endless quotes and discussions of "naked" versus "nude" and whatnot. The guy in me asks, "Where are the pictures?" Rooney talks about her "pretty face" and lean figure, but not a single photo. Even the dust jacket photo is in shadow. She references models for Botticelli, Rodin, and other great artists and there are no photos of their great works.

Charlie Sheen is great, Jodie Foster beyond great. IF you like suspense, horror, and mystery, watch this movie.
