For me, a song that touches my heart always takes me to the time and place for which the song holds it's reason. At the time this song was popular, I had just learned that two of my three dogs were terminally ill. Emmy, who had been with me for 13 years, laid with me night after night...till she left. It may sound silly to rate a song based on the emotional involvement with a pet...but why not? She was a part of my life through many ups and downs...and I played this song at her funeral.
