I love Country music, both classic and a lot of the newer stuff. And from the first time I heard Lady A on the radio, I knew they were going places. Lady A just makes great music!

Of course, anyone who listens to Country music radio has already heard the spirited "Lookin' For A Good Time," and the soulful "I Run To You." In addition to these, I like the catchi-beats of "Love Don't Live Here," Love's Lookin' Good On You," and "Slow Down Sister." Great songs for the MP3 player to get me pumped up on my early morning walks!

But, it's Hilary's voice on some of these songs that I'm really coming to appreciate. Some people might say she's not "country," but I disagree. She has a sincerity and soulfulness to her voice that does a country ballad proud. She has a somewhat catchy tune with "Long Gone," and it's easy to sing along with "Home Is Where The Heart Is," but when she sings "Can't Take My Eyes Off You," my heart skips a beat and I'm almost crying it's so beautiful. This woman can sing a country ballad, and pull you right into her heart!

So, no, there is no "Country twang" here. But will there ever be another Willie Nelson or Waylon Jennings? Both men are classics and legends, and who knows? Perhaps Lady A may join their ranks one day!

My four-year-old son is obsessed with Thomas and Friends and saw Lady in the movie, "The Magic Railroad." He "earned" her as a reward for good behavior and is very proud to have her because she's "magic." She is a beautiful little train - and I do mean little! She is much smaller than the other engines, but very detailed and lovely. One of my personal favorites!
