![]() Just Because $12.99 By the way, this cd has some great live tracks, but for some reason, I was able to copy this cd! Like the other reviewer said, it IS copy protected, but I got it to copy somehow! this cd is totally worth the dollar it costs! ![]() You're just jealous because the voices are talking to me Adult White Racing Checker Hat / Cap $25.49 T-ShirtFrenzy offers over 30,000 designs on tons of products to offer millions of variations. This album features stripped down tracks with beautiful, inventive live instrumentation and her beautiful vocals. The thing that I love the most about Conya and other artists like her who are fighting to keep the neo-soul thing alive is that their music demands my total attention. I really pay attention to not only the lyrics but the musical production as well - there are no heavy hollow beats to distract me. It's really impossible to compare Conya to another artist because she is a unique vocalist/songwriter whose heartfelt lyrics lend believability to each track. My favorite tracks are: SWEET LOVE - I love the almost gospel song opening chords of this song HERE WE GO AGAIN - the musical production of this track reminds me of something Marvin Gaye might've produced in his hey day SIXTH OF JUNE (MIRACLE) - I love the interesting beats along with the simplicity of the accompanying guitars MISSING YOU & STAY - both are really pretty melodic tracks THE WIND - a duet with Chris McNeal, their voices meld beautifully together on this track I'd highly recommend it to fans of Ms. Doss! ![]() Just Because I Am: A Child's Book of Affirmation $9.99 This is the most disgusting, despicable excuse for a book that I have ever read. It encourages adults to discount the feelings of children. "When a child says 'I am good at something' you say 'you like that something.'" No where in this book does it say anything about being curious or wanting to know more about anything else. It is a self-congrat- ulatory book; encourages self-applause instead of earning applause. I threw it away after the first time I read it. It was the single worst waste of money that I have ever committed. I am truly sorry that I bought this book. |
