While this is not, strictly speaking, a review of this product, I have posted this information here to bring to light some relevant information about this item.

Again, Amazon.com has cross-referenced two distinct and different products that happen to share a common name, and in this case an identical front cover. The CD listed here is the Sequel label from the U.K. compilation CD of Darren's Colpix recordings. It contains 16, NOT 18 tracks as listed. The last two tracks, "All" and "You Take My Heart Away" are NOT included on this CD. They do appear on the Rhino version of this item. Make no mistake, the Sequel item is as good as the Rhino one with the exception of the missing two tracks.

Be sure you know which version you are getting when purchasing. The reviews and product descriptions for these two similar but definitely different items have been mixed by Amazon in their lame attempt to consolidate their product catalog, doing more disservice than help.

As was stated by previous reviewers, I purchased this CD because of the character Vic Fontaine, played by James Darren, in the Star Trek series Deep Space Nine (DS9). As a big Fan of Star Trek, I enjoyed viewing the few episodes with Vic Fontaine. As a much older singer, James Darren still has the pipes and did a superb job on the show and on this CD. Look...The character was well written and the songs sung by James Darren in DS9 are timeless classics. You imagined the future with the show and reminisced on the current and the past with the songs. What a way to end the DS9 series by gently putting us back into the present with such timeless classics. Thanks James Darren. For everyone else, Go out and purchase Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Dean Martin, Tony Bennett, and of course James Darren. Plus many others.

I absolutely love the first gidget movie.It is funny,entertaining,cute, and romantic.The other's were great too.The Dvd format was easy to use and the picture was clear.I'm sure you will love these movies too.I wish they has used the same actor for all 3, the one in the first one but they didn't.They all have really good plots and you will get to know gidget better.The effects were like any old 60's movie.You know they aren't really surfing but it is funny to watch how they did things back then.

This was a present fof my wife. The quality was as expected, even playing in the U.K. She was nine years old when she first watched it, and thinks that maybe memories are sometimes better than reality. All in all though a good film for it's age.
