i found this single in a sale bin in a local [store], and after being told if i like fugazi, thursday, recover and so on, that i should check out AtDI, i willingly paid the [money] for it... i won't make any stupid cliches, like 'that was the best 65 cents i ever spent'... but this single is extremely good. i've heard the original of 'initiation' and because of the low budget with which they recorded the original, this version (recorded on the steve lamacq show on BBC 1 in england) sounds incredible. Personally 'initiation' does it for me, it is the best song on this single, any song with the lyrix: 'and i told you not to bother to holler, your telephone's the one that helped me wrap the cord around your neck, you know you're beautiful when your... dead' is a winner for me.also, 'invalid litter dept.' is a song that won't let you ignore it, with the dichotomy between talking and singing, and later singing and screaming, paired with the clever changes in emotion, and the amazing breakdown in the latter half of the song... it is just an incredible song to watch (or rather listen) unfold. very inspirational...if like me, you can find this single cheaply, i recommend buying it, you will not regret it at all.
