This book is really great for new couples who want to make sure that they're compatible. It has great ideas and questions to ask each other.
It also helps with a person's self-esteem. Sometimes people just "settle" instead of realizing that they are worthy of someone who will treat them right. It's made a huge difference in my life. I feel more confident and know that someone is out there who will complement my life. I have given copies as gifts. I heard about this book from a co-worker, and she said the same thing. It gives people tools to start a relationship. Thank You!

The book is supposed to be modelled on Machiavelli's The Prince, and it does share some of its aphoristic style. However, what's most like the original is the bluntness with which Fuller deals with the intellectual pretensions of academics. He seems to think that most of the intellectual action in today's world has migrated off campus, as academics have remained mired in their powergames. But he clearly wants intellectuals to have spent some time in the Ivory Tower to get the needed forms of mental agility. The dialogue in the mid-section of the book is aimed mostly at philosophers but the last third of the book is a set of very useful FAQs.

So I have no time to read and when I saw this book, I was really excited because it is set up to give you maximum amounts of information in minimal amounts of time.... one page per day and there are several topics that are assorted week to week. I actually make time to read the single page and really enjoy what I read. There is a basic idea of each concept and then it is broken down into details, followed by four or five trivia points at the bottom. The book provides a whole year of information and for the price is a great buy. It's like taking a college course in the subject!
