This book was recomended by my massage lecturer at the Australian Institute of Holistic Medicine and the copy in the clinic at the college is always being refered to in classes as well as in the clinic. My copy was by my side for referal while studying for exams and it still sits on my desk in readiness to show my clients and for me to refresh my knowledge.
It is a great book and will always be one of the tools of my trade.

EMS Field Guide: Basic & Intermediate Version (Informed)

I don't use this very often, but when I do it usually has the information I need. Some sections aren't so useful for me, such as the section on spelling (there aren't that many words included). I would like other sections to be easier to find, such as pediatric vital signs ranges.

For an EMT I would recommend getting the ALS version instead if you work on an ALS ambulance or plan on going to medic or nursing school.
