It involves as well in organization of our knowledge and ideas as in ordering our experience and task. It help in visualization of some data as well as in orientation who and where we are. The book could support teaching in information design, making meaning and dynamic graphic design.  Imagination First: Unlocking the Power of Possibility $24.95 The stated aim of this book is to show you how to cultivate imagination to spark the creativity that leads innovative solutions to problems (the ICI continuum as they call it). It outlines various techniques to try and jump you out of your normal problem solving patterns, which are interspersed with 'inspirational' anecdotes. Most of these methods will be familiar to readers of authors like Edward de Bono for example: Six Thinking Hats Lateral Thinking: Creativity Step by Step Serious Creativity: Using the Power of Lateral Thinking to Create New Ideas Creativity Workout: 62 Exercises to Unlock Your Most Creative Ideas. The book is a little thin on actionable content or practical exercises IMHO and is therefore of limited value compared to existing texts in this area.  The Very Best of Imagination $14.49 Brilliant 80s R&B/Pop from Britain. This collection has all their hits and then some. Standouts; Just an illusion, Body Talk, Flashback, Changes, Music and lights, so good so right. Highly reccommended! |
