I am a marathoner. In the off-season, I focus on lifting. Huge in a Hurry has totally maximized my off-season workout program. I'm lifting really big weights (my deadlift is nearing my 150-lb body weight). And get this: without injury. I've finished the first seven-weeks of his program and added six pounds of muscle.

It is a totally new work-out philosophy; and I admit to being skeptical. But I decided to give the "Get Ready" phase a try. I needed two- of those three-weeks to adapt to the program and find the correct weight. I highly recommend everybody follow the author's advice and do the "Get Ready" phase.

I eagerly advanced to the Get Big phase. Waterbury has designed a great program. Basically it provides four-lifts for three-workouts per week; with varying weights and exercises. I look forward to the "heavy" days, which are just what you'd expect. And by mixing weights and exercises and numbers of rep, Waterbury gives you a great workout even on those "light" days.
