I recently purchased this Movie "Doing Life" which I had not seen since it was originaly shown on Television back in 1986 or 87. I always considered Tony Danza a very good actor after watching him on the Hit TV show 'Who's the Boss". Even though that was a comedy sitcom, his serious acting ability really comes to the surface in this true to life story of a wrongfully accused man and his persistant attempts at gaining his freedom from the convaluted and twisted American Legal System. Great acting by Danza in a fast paced story that will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the movie. Yo!

First off, this rating is not for the movie, it is for the transfer to dvd, this has to be one of the worst transfers I have ever seen, snap, crackle & pop, lines all through the movie, It is almost unwatchable, I have bought dvd's from Alpha video in the past and they were fine, but this one is a total joke and a total waste of money. Stay away!

If you were a teen(male)during the 80's then this is a film for you. Trashy dialogue, corny story line and fantastic girly fight scenes.
