Joe Meno has become my writer. I think every reader has at least one-- that if the author wrote bathroom stall graffitti, they'd want to take a look at it. Does graffitti have 2 F's AND 2 T's? Hmm. Anyway, Hairstyles was the second Joe Meno book I read, the first being The Boy Detective Fails. I've been working my way through his stuff ever since. I think Hairstyles, in addition to being pretty brilliant has at least a little bit of everyone's high school experience wrapped up in it. Read it. Then read some more.

In the last year I had started to let my hair grow long after many years of short hair styles. I wanted to find a book that showed how to braid your own hair and a book that offered many additional styles for long hair. This book was exactly what I was looking for in that it gave me great tips on how to braid my own hair and offered other styles I had not considered.

I never received this book! I would love to know just what happened. I know that there were issues in the beginning with my bank not authorizing payment but that was cleared. As of this moment I would not recommend purchasing from this distributer!

I fall on the side of reviewers that doesn't find much value on the ideas in the book. I did not feel like I got my money's worth. I'm not looking for anything complicated, but was hoping for more variations.
