 Guns, Germs, and Steel: The Fates of Human Societies $24.95 One of the best works of non-fiction I have read. The breadth of the author is staggering: anthropology, history, genetics, linguistics, biology, climatology, geology, sociology, and other fields I don't know the names for. All of these disparate yet interrelated fields are woven into a single narrative about the ultimate reasons behind the radically different developmental paths taken by the worlds civilizations. A plausible, scientifically-based explanation of issues I have contemplated for years, which simultaneously deconstructs the commonly held theory that genetics had a role in the advancement (or not) of peoples. The author explains why native Tasmanians never left the stone age (and indeed reverted to so-called inferior technologies), how Great Britain became a world power, why the native cultures in pre-Colonial North America were technologically moribund and not only illiterate but making no progress towards the development of written language, and how that same North American continent then came to house the most advanced civilization in the history of human kind (my assessment of America, not his). A must-read for anyone who has ever pondered the great question of human history and pre-history.  MK23 Navy Seal Spring Pistol Airsoft Gun $21.89 So, I just got this gun today and have already tried it out a ton. it is a very good gun and i really like it. i bought another two pistols a while ago and they fell apart imediatly. this gun on the other hand is made out of very stable material and the interior is metal (i think). but despite how much i love this gun there are 2 problems: 1. It is very large and hard to carry around as a secondary weapon. 2. its power varies what i mean by its power varies is that one shot can be 320 fps and the next 290 it never goes below around 280ish but that is still pretty powerful. still very good gun.gtg  Weston Original Jerky Gun $34.99 I use to make jerky with round steak, so this is my first experience using ground beef. It turned out great! I purchased the variety of seasonings package and found that my family has enjoyed all of the flavors so far. We've tried five of them.
