![]() Headfirst Straight to Hell $16.99 I first came across Grade a bit before "Under the Radar" came out, probably a track or two off of "Separate the Magnets" on my friend's computer. I thougt they had a great sound, but a bit unfocused; are you hardcore, screamo, what? "Under the Radar" knocked my socks off. This was a band that found their voice, found the vein of thought and feeling that they flowed within. They found something that they wanted to say and went and said it. In fact, stop reading this and go buy that album. BUT.... BUT... whatever you do, on't buy this one. This album should be an embarassment. Ok, the production is bad, but you get that a lot for any band that isn't major label, whatever, par for the course, but content, people, CONTENT. This album is awful. Heartfelt lyrics to what? Deathmetal runoff? Please. If you spend one whole album talking about how the ladies don't treat you right and then the next one screeching about the devil, guess what.... I'm not gonna buy into any of it. Thank Satan these guys broke up. xoxo, ![]() Reader Rabbit I Can Read With Phonics 1st and 2nd Grade $19.99 My 5-year old couldn't wait to play with this software (game). He got bored very quickly, so I went to a different game, but he wasn't real impressed there either. He played all the games, but didn't find this very fun or exciting. I was hoping it would be more educational, but found it to be just "ok". |
