My review is based on the retailer, Amazon, and not the product. I never got a chance to use the GPS so I can't comment on any of its qualities. The first thing buyers should be aware of is that if you purchase this product through Amazon they are likely all refurbished items even if they list them as new. Apparently, to Amazon, the concept of refurbished is the same as repackaged because thats all they did with the TWO such items I purchased. The first GPS wouldn't power on (obviously, it was never checked)and the second had internal damage to the screen (obviously, not checked either). Returns were easy and they did refund my purchase price but beware of the shipping. They will refund shipping but not at the full cost. In my case I had to return two items at about $9.00 shipping each. Amazon only refunded one shipping cost for $6.17. So, while I did get most of my money back I ended up paying $10.00 for the lovely experience. I would not recommend a refurbished item from Amazon.

Works as advertised. Good craftsmanship. This allows portability of GPS unit to the floor to be 'out of sight' when leaving the car. This is important if you have a convertible, as thieves will steal it if they see it! This Friction Mount is stable and allows me to hide the Mount and the GPS when I leave the car. Good product. Good service! Recommended.

Great product. Very quick in terms of calculating maps. The MP3 function is a good addition. Music stops when a direction is vocalized and the music continues right after it. Would be better if users can browse and choose songs with more freedom, for example, selecting each individual music sub-folders to play. Now once the GPS locate a music folder, it will combine all the songs into a big pool and ignore all the sub-folders definitions. Overall, it's a very fine product. I would recommend to anyone.
