Rarely do I hear a rap song I find to be beautifully honest about the "game" - getting into the music industry and staying on top. Unfortunately for the person they refer to, it hasn't been good to him!

Competition is obviously tight, and the person in this story decided to go POP, which was a terrible mistake. Now he's sleeping on his mother's living room couch and lost his vehicles to repossession.

I think this is a song a lot of young people need to hear - they're always hearing the upside to the rap industry. When I worked as a teacher, I had kids marketing their own cds in between classes during breaks. Instead of their classes, they were focused on making it big in rap.

I would recommend this to any ADULT or late teen - not appropriate for young kids. I just hope nobody gets shot over this.
