![]() Golf Courses: Fairways of the World $50.00 This is a top class book with the most stunning photos from the worlds most famous golf courses. We use this as presentation book in our business class together with 15 other books and this is with out and doubt the most popular one. Even I who don't know much about golf -- love look in it. Outstanding book for golfers and none golfers. ![]() GPS Golf Guru 4 Precise GPS/PDA Golf Rangefinder with Multi-application capabilities $399.95 Got the item about a month ago. I like the "Mark" feature that let's you know how far you hit the ball. Also, as most reviews will probably point out, the customer service people are very good. I have trouble reading the screen in the sunlight at times and my battery power lasts for just 2 rounds (not the 14 hours promised). Overall, I am pleased with how the unit has performed. Any time I have had a chance to confirm it's accuracy it gets high marks. Worth the price. ![]() Fifty Places to Play Golf Before You Die: Golf Experts Share the World's Greatest Destinations $24.95 I live on the Pacific Grove Golf Course. It is listed as one of the 50 places to play. That sold the book for me. It sits on my coffee table. ![]() World Atlas of Golf: The Greatest Courses and How They Are Played $39.95 Most of the courses featured in this wonderful work will never be graced by my cleats but that does not matter. I have enjoyed every page of this new addition. The satellite and aerial shots of the courses give you an excellent overview of what you will be faced if playing these courses. I love the helpful and entertaining comments. As I said, I will play only a few of these courses (only two so far, but hey, I am still young) but even if I do not get the opportunity, I still like to read about them and dream. This makes a wonderful gift for the golfer in your life. |
