![]() Cracks in the Fabric: Beyond the Extraordinary $21.24 This is an unusual novel, quite unlike anything I have read before, and even more difficult to classify. It's not so much science fiction as thriller, and even then the driving force of a mother's love makes it something else again. It is this absence of an obvious genre that makes it a compelling read. I won't revisit the plot, as this has been done quite well here, but suffice to say that it is really thought provoking. Is this current time or the very near future? It is certainly a world we recognise, and yet when we move forward in the story we encounter technology that we have never seen or even imagined. For those readers who are looking for something a little different and challenging to your way of thinking, this is an enjoyable read. For a debut it is sensational. ![]() William the Crack Shot Kid (Book & CD) (The Music Literacy Art) $11.95 The books in this series are designed to combine music, text, and illustrations as a way of telling stories written specifically for young children.
