Then there is just one structural support coming from under the foot so there is not enough support for the foot/ankle like there is with the Futuro Sport Deluxe Ankle Stabilizer, One Size Adjustable (Pack of 2) There is only a stabilizer on one side, the Futuros have support on both sides of the ankles. I am only commenting on these for walking with support for my feet/ankles not for sports use.
