The binding is my favorite part! it lays flat when tying flies. The book doesn't stick with a few materials so you'll need to stock up. But if your creative you can create each fly with other materials. I have only the basic materials so sometimes I just use what i have. Another help would be a more in depth list of what you can catch. I catch bass also and know the best flies would help, but for trout is a must have!
