![]() The Firm: Dangerous Curves Ahead $19.98 I love the firm workouts and this is one of my favourites. But I wasn't too impressed with the resistance loop. Sure, it's free, but I noticed after doing the workout around 10 times that it was getting thin in a couple of places, and then eventually it snapped. I wasn't over-stretching it or doing anything more with it than what was instructed in the video. I'd prefer to pay a bit more for the set with a loop that lasts a bit longer! Now I have to go out and buy my own loop. ![]() The Firm: Get Chisel'd $14.98 I have several workout videos from The Firm, and this may be my favorite! The music is great, and her moves are fast-paced and original. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants an hours worth of exercise in 40 minutes. Also, the bonus 15-min. routine is tough, and perfect for those days when I don't have much time but still want to burn some calories. Love it! ![]() The Firm Total Body TransFIRMation Kit $39.98 Hello Dears, With The Firm be get results fabulous. I suggest totaly. It's a methode ship, easy and Very Funny. Rgds, Diana Lopez ![]() The Firm Bootcamp - Maximum Calorie Burn $14.98 This is a great workout. After the warm up I was a little apprehensive that the workout would be too easy but that was quickly disproven! This workout alternates between a plyometrics/weight section and a cardio section. During the plyo/weight sections you work with weights first, then put them down and do some plyometric exercises like plyo lunges and squat thrusts. Because of these plyo sections you keep your heart rate up the entire workout. This is a bootcamp workout- lots of bending, jumping, etc. not much dancy movements which I like better. It is still a fun and engaging workout. You're not looking at the clock waiting for it to be over. There are only 3 plyo sections and 3 cardio sections so it goes pretty fast. Plus, Alison appears a lot more comfortable in this workout than she appeared in the Firm Fat Burning Workout. She provides good cueing as always too. The only cons I can think of is the camerawork. The camera focused on Su Mi MUCH too much. It was irritating when Alison was showing a new move and the camera was only showing the beginner modifier version. Also Alison says at the beginning of every exercise, "Beginners, follow Su Mi!" which gets annoying after the15th time she's said it. These things distract from a perfect workout but this is still one of my favorite workout dvds. |
