 K's Kids Colorful Bowling Friends $34.99 I got this set for my 1 and 3 year old daughters. It is extremely durable. The pins stay upright until knocked down. They pins also have a pleasant smell. The girls love playing with this set. I highly recommend it.  American Innovative Teach Me Time! Talking Alarm Clock and Nightlight $39.95 My 2.5 yr old has been waking up around 6:00AM every day, announcing that it's morning, and time to get up. Out of desperation, I sprung for this clock, which glows yellow at night, but then glows green at whatever time you set it to (7:00AM, in our case). The clock arrived yesterday, and this morning was the first time in months that our tot stayed in bed until 7:00. At 7:03, he leapt out of bed and announced: "It turned green! It's morning time! Time to get up! It turned green!". Hopefully this clock eventually will be a useful teaching tool for learning to tell time, but in the meantime, it is worth more than its weight in gold for the extra sleep we hope to get. Highly recommended. |
