![]() The Guinea Pig Diaries: My Life as an Experiment $25.00 In "The Guinea Pig Diaries" A.J. Jacobs delivers another laugh out loud book. Although it cannot compare to his two previous books, Mr. Jacobs again trenchantly turns the tiresome aspects of life into something that should be celebrated or in his case `experimented' with. The problem with this book is that the several experiments that Mr. Jacobs undergoes are all told in little under 15 to 20 pages each. Thus, the author dilutes the material and leaves the reader somewhat confused and disoriented at the end. After reading "The Year of Living Biblically" I literally felt like I was following Mr. Jacobs around on his several bizarre religious experiences. Nevertheless, a nice short book that you can breeze through on a nice Fall weekend. ![]() Scientific Explorer's Spa Science Chemistry Kit $19.99 My daughter really enjoys this kit. It is a fun way to have your child practice reading, measuring, mixing and understanding a few science concepts. In my opinion anything that gets them thinking (especially something fun that smells good!) is a good thing. Your little girl will enjoy this kit! ![]() ScienceWiz Chemistry Experiments Kit and Book 35 Experiments, Chemistry $19.99 We have a six year old and have purchased a variety of chemistry/science books and basic experiment kits. This is our favorite. All experiments we've tried have worked well and provided fantastic opportunities for inquiry and discovery. It's a great all-in-one product. Any unusual materials or containers (and even some basic ones) are provided in the kit. Any additional materials not included are specifically stated in experiment instructions and would be stocked in the most basic of home kitchens. We love doing these projects with friends and it's become a requested event for any sleepover at our house. ![]() The Experiment $29.99 now this game is very exciting and futuristic and fun i cant wait for a part 2 to this game thanks |
