However, a person is prohibited from assembling a non-sporting semi-automatic rifle or non-sporting shotgun from imported parts. In addition, the making of an NFA firearm requires a tax payment and approval by ATF. An application to make a machine gun will not be approved unless documentation is submitted showing that the firearm is being made for a Federal or State agency. [18 U.S.C. 922(o) and (r), 26 U.S.C. 5822, 27 CFR 478.39, 479.62 and 479.105] So it is NOT ILLEGAL for someone to make the gun in this or any other book as long as it is built as a sporting semi-auto weapon. Making it a full auto weapon would be illegal not as a semi-auto. So making a few mods to this gun to qualify as a sporting gun would be easy enough for anyone with a brain so DON"T listen to people saying building your own gun is illegal check the ATF website yourselves ![]() Expedient Videos: How to Build a PC Computer Instructional [VHS] $10.87 This is a nice simple video to build a PC, we keep it in our library, it's a very nice well covered instructional title. |
