I bought this because of the consistent references in other book reviews which referred to this book as a significant standard in historical mystery novels. It is pretty long, and I became tired of the constant ramblings about who should be pope/king, and arguments between various, obscure (to me), Catholic factions. Once I began to skip over all these asides, I enjoyed the actual parts about the murder mysteries and the main characters' work toward solving them.

I've been really pleased with the detergent so far, and it lasts FOREVER. I do all the laundry for our family of four, and the pack of four lasted us for over a year. I just ordered our second 4-pack and may not have to order again until early 2011. We do about 8 loads per week in a front loader, and it has cleaned well for us. Our two kids aren't little anymore, so we don't have the same dirt and food (and other) stains that we used to have, so I can't comment on how this does with really dirty laundry.

I had a frying pan that I liked with the same eco-friendly nonstick surface, so I bought the 12 piece set to expand my pots and pans to this nonstick finish. The price was very good, the surface is truly nonstick and cleans with a sponge. The only downside is that they say not to machine wash to preserve the finish. The cleanup is so easy that I have not had any problem with not using the dishwasher. The pots and pans are a little heavier than my old pans, the finish is beautiful and they say not to stack to avoid chipping. I have stacked them carefully with no problem. I do love the finish for low fat cooking, clean up and no scratching or peeling(like other nonstick finishes). I would buy them again and recommend them.

I bought this after seeing positive reviews and thinking, "That would be cool to have." Before I go any further, let me say that this item works. The only reason I gave it four stars is because it's not always the most practical thing to have around. I used this in high school, and usually teachers would tell me to use a regular stapler, because they trusted a normal stapler more. With just a couple papers, say 1-3, it works great. It doesn't come apart at all and the Staple Free Stapler is easy to use. Beyond that, it's not really reliable. One of the nice things about this stapler is that other people will certainly be interested in it. When I started using this product in school, everyone wanted to see it and try it out. I still use it from time to time, but like I said, it's not always practical.
