![]() Divide and Ride (MathStart 3) $5.99 "Divide and Ride" is a great way to introduce your children/students to division. It has fabulous illustrations and written in a kid-friendly manner. Students can relate to the idea of going to an amusement park and/or carnival and they can start to see patterns as the book continues. ![]() Division $10.98 The Good Melodic vocals and a driving chorus super-charge the opening song "Actions & Motives." "Just Can't Win" mixes tortured verses with emotionally powerful choruses. Acoustic guitars set the tone for the dark ballad "Dying Youth." "Focus" centers more on melody then it does on guitar riffage. "All Your Lies" is loaded with monster riffs and plenty of angst. The Bad As with most mainstream and modern rock today, there is not much diversity here. Sure, there are rockers and ballads, but the rockers don't break mid-tempo and all sound the same. The ballads fall into the same rut. The Verdict While 10 years have certainly nailed down great vocal melodies on Division, they have faltered when it comes to diverse and interesting rhythms to accompany them. There's not much that defines the '10 Years sound,' as it sounds just like every other band in it's genre. ![]() Division (Question of Math) $25.26 I am a third grade teacher and I used this book to introduce the concept of division in my classroom. I have looked at other books to help my students learn division, but I really enjoyed this book because it gave several examples of when we use division and the story problems were ones that the students could relate to. After reading this book even my struggling students could write and understand a division sentence. I would recommend this book to anyone who is afraid to introduce division to their students. ![]() Rock 'N Learn: Division Rap $19.99 Rock 'N Learn is a premier producer of DVDs for children that are as entertaining as they are educational.
