![]() Directed Electronics 506T I.T. Audio Sensor $39.99 I installed this with a Clifford 50.5x in my 2001 silverado. I haven't gotten any false alarms with my system but I took it to an empty parking lot and tweaked it pretty good. If you set it up right you won't have any problems, placement doesn't really matter as long as you don't do something weird like stick it inside a pillar or under the carpet or something. Just grab some 3m double sided sticky tape (something good so it will hold in extreme heat) and stick it somewhere it can have air space around it (at least that's what I would do / did). I stuck mine behind the center console; Plenty of air space around it and you can't see it. Play with the sensitivity until you are happy with it. How I tested mine was using my key-chain, 1-2 keys is good, just grab the ring or your remote on the key-chain and tap the glass (tap lightly, don't go scratching your glass!!) with the keys. This will simulate the frequency of breaking glass, and you can tweak it so you don't have false alarms... I'm about to install a Clifford 50.7x in my wife's 2007 300, I'll be buying another one of these next week :-) Good Luck! ![]() Install Essentials 508D Radar Field Disturbance Sensor $89.99 This little clear box is an unbelievable add-on for a security system. You can change the field radar to surround your car. My garage door sets it off when it opens. It is a very touchy add-on that will help protect your car!! ![]() Directed Electronics 545T Nite-Lite System (D) $80.00 We bought a 2008 Toyota that did not have auto lights on as dusk, we found ourselfs leaving the head lights on all the time.
