![]() Developing Minds: Developing Minds Multimedia Library $349.95 Developing Minds is a comprehensive multimedia library that offers the tools and strategies to help parents and teachers better understand and manage each child's learning profile. The materials are based on the pioneering educational framework of Dr. Mel Levine, renowned developmental-behavioral pediatrician, professor and author, and his colleagues at the All Kinds of Minds Institute. This library is an essential resource for the community of professionals who work with children and early adolescents on learning issues, as well as for parents and students. The series addresses differences in attention, memory, language, neuromotor function, social cognition, temporal-sequential ordering, spatial ordering and higher order cognition, and shows how strengths and weaknesses in these areas can affect children's success in writing, reading, math, communicating, understanding, organization, feelings and behavior. Includes 22 programs and 18 downloadable guidebooks. Developing Minds is the recipient of the World Medal in the Special Education category of the 2002 International Film & Video Competition of The New York Festivals. ![]() Dangerous Living - Coming Out in the Developing World $24.95 This DVD is worth watching, because gay rights is important. I know that God taught us to love our neigbhor as he has always loved us. Treating each other with respect is important. My favorite part of the documentary is when the Phillipino choir sang in Australia. Enjoy! ![]() Hewes Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Film Developing Reel For 35mm Size Film $19.95 These are way better than the generic or Adorama brands. Even on Adorama's website, their own brand of reel has horrible reviews. I bought a generic brand first because it was cheaper, but that was a waste of money and film! Even in daylight, I could not get the film to load on the generic brand. I finally did some research and found these (Hewes brand). Who knew that there could be such a huge difference in quality?? The Hewes brand practically loads itself. If you are using plastic reels and are thinking of switching to stainless steel, don't go for the cheap ones, you will just waste your money and ruin your film. The Hewes brand is easily worth the money. Instead of a spring clip to grasp your film, it has two prongs that catch your film by the sprocket holes. Loading is a breeze from there. Again, I don't know why the generic ones are even being made. The person who designed them obviously knows nothing about film and how the stainless steel reels are supposed to work. The Hewes brand is a great product and is a breeze to use. ![]() Developing the Leader Within You $14.99 A coworker recommended this to me, it was a pretty good read. Definitely gives you some thinks to think about and work on for becoming a better leader. |
